  • Hex keys: 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm
  • Hex sockets: 5.5mm, 7mm (alternatively, needle-nose pliers)
  • Crimping tools for JST connectors, ferrules and cable lugs
  • Soldering iron & solder
  • A synthetic lithium- or PTFE-based lubricant
  • Carpenter’s square

Optional:

  • Electric drill (or manual, if you’re so inclined)
  • 3mm metal drill bit
  • M4x1 metric thread tap
  • Insertion tool for M3 heat set inserts (Example)
  • 99% isopropyl alcohol

Missing parts

The Vz330 Mellow Kit may have some missing parts or items. They are however part of the Mellow Kit BOM, and should eventually come with the kit as expected.

The STLs for the printed parts you need to build the kit are linked in the corresponding part of the build manual.
They are shown as a build plate, you are able to click every object there and the corresponding STL should open. The actual number you need to print of the part is the same shown in the picture.
